About the event

Utah currently ranks as the #1 state for sexual abuse. This community forum will dive into the reasons behind this troubling statistic and what we can do together to bring change.

Speakers:

  • Troy Rawlings, Davis County Attorney since 2007, will share his extensive experience prosecuting sexual abuse cases and his perspective from within the justice system.

  • Ashley Smith, a survivor and sexual abuse victims’ advocate, will speak about her journey of healing, advocacy, and the urgent need to protect survivors.

This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from both a legal authority and a survivor advocate about the scope of the problem, systemic failures, and pathways to hope and action.

Details:📅 Thursday, October 9🕡 6:30 PM📍 Faith Baptist Church, 2430 N. Fairfield Rd, Layton, Utah
